Mission
The Planning Division strives to preserve and enhance the City's physical, economic, and social environment through implementation of effective, short and long-range planning principles.
Responsibilities
The Planning Division administers, prepares, and maintains the provisions of the City's following key documents and processes that guide physical development in Rolling Hills Estates. This includes:
Additionally, the Planning division provides support and expertise to residents and developers, helping them navigate the regulatory framework for development. The Planning Division also offers technical assistance to the Planning Commission, City Council, and the Environmental Advisory Committee.
