LANDSCAPE APPLICATION SUBMITTAL PROCESS
The provisions of this Ordinance apply to the following landscape projects: New construction projects with an aggregate landscape area equal to or greater than 500 SF requiring a building or landscape permit, plan check or design review; Rehabilitated landscape projects with an aggregate landscape area equal to or greater than 2,500 SF requiring a building or landscape permit, plan check, or design review.
The following items are required for a complete application package:
- Project Application – see Landscape Documentation Package
- Approval letter from the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) for The Residences at RHCC.

- Approval letter from the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) for The Residences at RHCC.
- Required Plans – see Landscape Documentation Package
- $2,000 Deposit
- The City of Rolling Hills Estates utilizes a third-party consultant to conduct the compliance review and installation inspection. Staff draws off the deposit to pay for these review and inspection services. After the certificate of completion and the installation inspection is finaled, any remaining funds will be returned to the applicant.
