COMMITTEE VACANCIES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that 2026 vacancies exist for the following Committee:
ENVIRONMENTAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE
Four positions with terms expiring December 31, 2026
Applications for vacancies on the City of Rolling Hills Estates’ Environmental Advisory Committee are being accepted through Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. These vacancies are appointed by the City Council at large and the appointment is expected to be made at the Regular City Council meeting of Tuesday, January 27, 2025. Candidates will be interviewed by the City Council sometime in late January (date TBD).
Committee Members must be residents of the City of Rolling Hills Estates. Information about the City’s Commissions and Committees is available on the City’s website at:

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the City of Rolling Hills Estates will hold a public hearing in the Council Chamber at City Hall, 4045 Palos Verdes Drive North, Rolling Hills Estates, CA 90275, and will be live-streamed on the City’s website, www.rhe.city/agendas, to consider the following: PLANNING APPLICATION NO. PA-240560; ADDRESS: 0 Encanto Drive (APN:7551-015-030 & 7551-015-900), Rolling Hills Estates, CA 90274; APPLICANT: Salvador Gonzalez, California Water Service Company; DESCRIPTION: A request for a Grading Permit (G-240561) for the importation of earth materials greater than 20 cubic yards to widen the driveway apron and raise appropriate grade levels to accommodate the installation of a new temporary portable generator for the California Water Service Company; and a Variance (V-240562) to construct fencing and a sliding security gate within the front and side yard that would exceed the maximum allowable fence height.
The application was reviewed in accordance with the California Environmental Quality (Public Resources Code §21000 et seq.: “CEQA”) and was determined to be Categorically Exempt under Class 3, Section 15303(a) New Construction of Small Structures.

NOTICE OF DECISION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Community Development Director of the City of Rolling Hills Estates has approved the following: PLANNING APPLICATION NO. PA-250284; ADDRESS: 11 Sweetgrass Lane, Rolling Hills Estates, CA 90274; APPLICANT: Jacobo Balairon; A request for a Neighborhood Compatibility Determination (NC-250285) for a 662 square foot, single story addition to an existing single story, single-family residence.
In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (Public Resources Code § 21000 et seq.: “CEQA”), the application has been determined to be Categorically Exempt under Class 1, Section 15301(e)(1) – Existing Facilities.
